Manchester/Southampton - A new hope

Researchers have discovered a new way of killing cancer cells that could lead to revolutionary treatments for the disease. Researchers at the universities of Manchester and Southampton teamed up to investigate how sufferers' own immune system could kill the disease. The scientists identified a previously undiscovered mechanism that could kill cancer cells that are resistant to chemotherapy treatment.
