Manchester, Illinois join worldwide network

The University of Manchester and the University of Illinois have joined the Worldwide University Network of ten UK and US institutions. The network, which will fund exchange postgraduate studentships in areas such as bioinformatics from September, is expected to bid to become part of the e-university.
