Paul Mackney, general secretary of lecturers' union Natfhe, has confirmed that he will stand for another five-year term of office, as the union this week opened the nominations for an election to the post.
Natfhe, the largest post-school union, wants a general secretary in the £54,000-a-year post by January. The candidates have until the end of October to put themselves forward.
