A graduate studies review committee of ten people, chaired by Robert Bennett, professor of geography at Cambridge University, will gather statistical data over ten years on the composition of the postgraduate student population.
It will analyse the proportion of home-based students and sources of funding. It will also consider financial arrangements and possible disincentives to postgraduate study.
