Lecturers' union Natfhe is preparing to strike at London Metropolitan University after 67 per cent of lecturers voted in favour of strike, and 81 per cent in favour of action short of a strike, on a turnout of 51 per cent. They will strike on June 23 unless the university lifts the threat of dismissal facing staff refusing to sign new contracts.
