Internet enthusiasts who attended City University's recent NetMedia conference found that academic space is even more complex than cyberspace. The only way to the Geary Lecture Theatre where many sessions were held was through a door marked "No Access to the Geary Lecture Theatre. High Voltage Equipment." On returning to the office from the conference, the THES delegate found a bill for the fee from the university - and another one from City's debt collectors.
