Liverpool Hope University - Something like a phenomenon

Liverpool Hope University has hosted its first conference on parapsychology and the interaction between the human mind and body. "Health, Mental Health and Exceptional Human Experience" examined how extreme paranormal and spiritual experiences, as well as strongly held beliefs, lead to material changes in physical and mental health. Speakers at the conference included lecturers from Liverpool Hope's Parapsychology Research Group, as well as a panel of scientists and academics. These included Eberhard Bauer, head of the department of cultural and historical studies at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology and Mental Health, the leading interdisciplinary institution for research into poorly understood scientific phenomena and anomalies.
