Fighting talk - albeit privately - from one vice-chancellor ahead of the forthcoming Universities UK conference. According to the vice-chancellor, there is a dissatisfaction with UUK that has lingered since the passing of the Higher Education Bill last year. "If one v-c is brave enough to say he will leave UUK, there might be quite a few that follow," he warned.
