Leicester fuels fever with World Cup website

Soccer experts at Leicester University have compiled a web resource on the World Cup that provides facts and figures on almost every aspect of the tournament.

Researchers at the Sir Norman Chester Centre for Football Research at Leicester have put together a web-based fact sheet covering topical issues such as hooliganism and national identity and the increasing commercialisation of football. It looks at how the host nations have prepared for the event and gives details of the new stadia built for the tournament.
