The internationalisation of higher education is to be studied in a new research centre. Leeds Metropolitan University's Centre for Academic Practice and Research in Internationalisation aims to "revolutionise" thinking in the field by combining research and practice. Viv Caruana, reader in internationalisation, is its joint director. She said the past 10 years had seen an unprecedented burst of activity in the field. "Internationalisation has become a key agenda in higher education and a key concept in the student learning experience right across the globe," she said.
