An Edwardian listed building has been transformed into a Pounds 4.5 million high-tech library for Leeds Metropolitan University students. The Beckett Park Learning Centre housed within the campus's James Graham Building has 400 computer stations, video editing equipment, language learning stations, group study rooms wired for satellite TV viewing, database access and an Internet lab as well as 180,000 books, journals and a new bookshop.
