Dons come together for genetics debate
Animal geneticists are to join the public for a  Question Time -style debate in Edinburgh tonight. It will be hosted by the Agriculture and Environment Biotechnology Commission.

Dundee rector in for long haul
Broadcaster and comedian Fred MacAulay will be installed as rector of Dundee University next week. Twelve scarlet-gowned students will haul him through the city with occasional stops for refreshment.
