TUC backs paid study leave

The Trades Union Congress has added its weight to a push for paid training leave for all employees. Labour MP David Chaytor launched a bill last week calling for minimum annual paid leave. 

Hague wants bar on Scots MPs

Conservative leader William Hague is expected to call for Scottish MPs at Westminster to be barred from voting on English and Welsh legislation in a speech at Magdalen College, Oxford, tonight. His speech is part of a series of lectures on politics and the constitution run by Magdalen.
