Palestinian students hurt in roadblock clash
Thirteen Palestinian students were reported injured in clashes with Israeli police on Wednesday during a protest against a roadblock near Ramallah that prevents them from reaching Bir Zeit University.   

Czechs fund 10,000 more students
The Czech education ministry has announced an extra £17 million for universities to help fund a further 10,000 student places next year. The increase reflects unease at the low number of students in the Czech Republic compared with other European countries.
