Melbourne recruitment failure attracts scrutiny
Australian authorities are investigating the failure by Melbourne Private University to recruit adequate numbers of students. The three-year-old institution, which is eventually expected to recruit 10,000 students, has only 100 enrolled on formal award courses and another 1,000 expected to take short professional courses this year.
