Lord Rees of Ludlow, president of the Royal Society and Astronomer Royal, has formally opened the third phase of building for the Lancaster Environment Centre. The £8.4 million building provides new office and laboratory space for the university and premises for companies wishing to locate into the environment centre or co-locate new activities.
