The John Smith Memorial debate at Glasgow University Union will commemorate the former Labour Party leader with a debate on the motion:
"This house believes that new Labour is barely Labour." The debate, to be held on November 17, is in honour of the late Mr Smith, who was once convener of debates at the GUU.
