The International Journal of Computer and Telecommunications Networking will publish a special issue on future advances in military communications systems and technology and is seeking papers for the edition.
Since the end of the Cold War there have been numerous advances in the telecommunications technologies that support the tactical operations of modern military personnel. The requirement today is the rapid deployment of military assets in remote parts of the world, often in environmentally hostile locations. This creates an ever-increasing dependence on information and communications technology to provide real-time fault-tolerant command, control and data management over fixed and freespace communications infrastructures.
The publication is one of the world's top research journals with the highest number of citations for telecommunications and computer networking. European researchers are invited to take this opportunity to promote the region's technologies and research capabilities.
Only papers describing previously unpublished state of the art research, which is not currently under review by another conference or journal will be considered.
