Janez Potocnik to visit Cadarache, future site of ITER

Brussels, 29 Jun 2005

Following on from the decision of the six international parties to build the ITER experimental project in Cadarache, France, the European Commissioner for Science and Research, Janez Potočnik announced today that he will visit the site on 3 July. He will visit the existing fusion research facilities, examine the future site of the ITER project and hold meetings with local and regional officials.
