Italy sets sites on amore

Italian students can now consult a web portal that claims to address all their information needs, writes Paul Bompard.

At, students can view bulletins on research, announcements of courses and scholarship information. The portal, produced by the magazine Campus, also provides details on travel and nightlife. Particularly popular is social contacts. Typing in "Milan" results in:

"Dark hair, green eyes, pretty. If you are a good-looking young man in the Milan area write to me."
