Brussels, 02 May 2005
The deadline for applications for the 2006 European Information Society Technologies (IST) Prize is 12 May.
Organised by Euro-CASE with the support of the Commission's Information Society DG, the IST Prize recognises 'innovative products or services with a high information society technology content and clear market potential'.
The three-stage application procedure is simple and quick: download an application form; fill it in using no more than ten pages; and send three copies to Euro-CASE before the 12 May deadline.
Following the deadline, 70 nominees will be identified, from which Euro-CASE and the Commission will select 20 winners, including three Grand Prize winners. The prize is open to companies in 33 countries.
