Brussels, 26 March 2002
Geel (BE): The three of Europe’s premier certified reference material producers – IRMM, Germany’s Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung (BAM) and LGC from the UK were joining forces once again at Pittcon 2002 in New Orleans to promote the use of European certified reference materials (CRMs) to more than 30.00 delegates and exhibitors from the USA as well as more than 120 countries. Appearing under the name “European Reference Materials” the CRMs promoted were covering a wide range including food industry, biotechnology, environmental protection, clinical chemistry and others.
In addition, CRMs suitable for instrument calibration including isotopic analysis, isotope dilution mass spectrometry spliking and nuclear applications, such as reactor neutron dosimetry and nuclear safeguards were presented. All three catalogues together with information material from the three producers are available on a CD-ROM
