Brussels, 11 Aug 2006
The first international symposium on ribonucleic acid interference (RNAi) technologies will be held in Munich, Germany, on 5 and 6 October 2006. The conference is intended to provide an overview of today's state-of-the-art RNAi technologies for the elucidation of gene functions in vivo.
Topics covered in the programme include RNA interference in invertebrates, RNAi applications in mammals, viral delivery of RNAi molecules, in vivo RNAi electroporation and RNAi transgenic animals. All lectures will be presented by internationally leading scientists in the field of RNAi.
Furthermore, this event aims to give young investigators and junior researchers the opportunity to present their current results to an international scientific audience.
