International cooperation with Russia and other NIS - call for proposals

The European Commission has launched a call for proposals for specific targeted research projects and coordination actions - Russia and other newly independent States (NIS) under the 'specific measures in support of international cooperation - Russia and other NIS' activity of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).

This call covers the following areas:
- environmental protection (D.1 in the work programme);
- adjusting the system of industrial production and communication (D.2);
- health safety (D.3).

The indicative budget for this call is 14 million euro.
