Brussels, 17 Jan 2003
The European Commission is organising an information day on cellular and molecular biology research and on the effects of low and protracted doses in Brussels on 28 January.
The event aims to promote a fuller understanding of the Sixth Framework Programme, the opportunities it presents, the new instruments and their practical implementation. It also hopes to provide a forum where those interested in participating in this thematic area can inform others of their project ideas, capabilities and opportunities for collaboration.
Activities during the information day will include presentations by the Commission on relevant instruments, contractual matters and scope and objectives, opportunities for participants to present their work and ideas, question and answer sessions, and group discussions.
Commission representatives will be on hand to moderate discussions, respond to questions on the new instruments and their application, and provide information on the content and scope of the specified thematic area.
