This JRC project is focused on the evaluation of the adhesive surface properties under bio-conditions and the biocompatibility of nano-layered films and multi-component nano-structured for various biomedical applications.
The biocompatibility of the films will be evaluated by both in vitro and in vivo experiments. This project is funded by the INTAS program to support the Scientific Research Cooperation. The interdisciplinary research program will be conducted jointly between six research teams including the Joint Research Centre, Institute for Health and Consumer Protection, BMS Unit.
