CEA, a French government-funded technological research organisation, has organised a training day with the aim of answering the question 'How to answer the FP7 calls for proposal?', to be held in le Bourget du Lac on 10 and 11 October. The course aims to identify the funding mechanisms for research, development and innovation (RDI), introduce the key European institutions and the ways to efficiently work with them; identify the key steps, major elements, difficulties, and bottlenecks for writing and managing professional competitive proposals in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7); and build suitable transnational partnerships.

The event will include lectures, debates, and interactive case studies with practitioners of European research projects and professional trainers. Preparatory work will be required from the participants.
