Pro-Vice-Chancellors:
Jim Allen , formerly dean of the faculty of social and health sciences, becomes Pro-Vice-chancellor for student support;
Richard Barnett , formerly dean of the faculty of business and management, becomes pro-vice-chancellor for teaching and learning;
John Hughes , formerly dean of the faculty of informatics, becomes pro-vice-chancellor for research and development;
Ann Tate , formerly pro-vice-chancellor (external affairs) becomes pro-vice-chancellor for quality assurance and enhancement and provost at Jordanstown.

Deans of faculty:
Robert A. Welch , art, design and humanities;
Denise McAlister , business and management;
Norman Black , informatics;
John Wilson , social and health sciences and education;
Terri Scott , becomes dean of regional development.

Senior officers:
Irene Aston becomes director of planning and governance services;
Brendan Kelleher becomes director of public affairs;
Clive Mulholland becomes director of lifelong learning;
Michael Ryan becomes director of finance.

Professorships:
Anne Moran , head of the school of education has been appointed professor of education.
