Heriot-Watt University has become the first higher education institution to win a gold award under Scotland's health-at-work scheme.
Heriot-Watt has a three-year health promotion strategy covering smoking, alcohol and drug abuse, eating, physical activity, sexual health, stress and mental health, dental health and cancer.
Principal John Archer said the university's workforce was its most valuable asset. "Providing what help and support we can, whether through a range of health promotions or in our provision of Scotland's first stress management scheme for university employees, is the best way to safeguard that asset."
