Guildhall gallantry

Too bad there is no funding council performance indicator for knights in shining armour, or troubled London Guildhall University might be feeling a little more optimistic. Human sciences dean Deian Hopkin's intercession last week to save a woman from being assaulted in Russell Square was followed two days later by provost Roderick Floud rescuing a woman who was being dragged towards a van at Liverpool Street station. Just hope they are as successful in saving their own institution.
