Green labels

Proposals for greening the campus via increased recycling are obviously taken seriously at the strife-torn University of Huddersfield. The photograph of new vice chancellor Sir William Taylor that appeared at The THES office this week bears a label with Sir William's name and title. Hold it up to the light and the ghostly name of his predecessor, Kenneth Durrands, can be glimpsed beneath.
