Good vibrations

March 21, 1997

Alumnus to be proud of No 94 can by contrast expect to be remembered for inducing the ruling that while you cannot bleep in the House of Commons, you can have a vibrator. Brian Wilson, Labour's rebutter-in-chief, outraged government MPs during prime minister's question time by receiving a message via his bleeper from his team at Millbank. Mr Wilson attended Dundee University, but those interested in his tendency to obtain information from dubious sources will want to note his diploma from the Centre for Journalism Studies at the University of Wales, Cardiff.
