Goal in sight

The ranks of the Tartan Army in Paris last week for the World Cup's Scotland-Brazil game were swelled by Linda McTavish, principal of Anniesland College in Glasgow. Ms McTavish was obliged to return home within hours of Scotland's tragic 2-1 defeat to attend the annual conference of the Association of Scottish Colleges. But displaying remarkable composure, she commented that the emotional highs and lows of the match were the perfect preparation for the ASC.
