Fashion design is cementing its place in the curriculum at the Glasgow School of Art with new undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in the discipline. Undergraduates can now apply for an honours degree in fashion under a programme that will commence in September 2010. The school's masters degree in design textiles has been relaunched as a masters in fashion and textiles, starting this month. The school previously focused on textiles, offering training in knitting, printing, weaving and embroidery. Glasgow's famous alumni include the designers Jonathan Saunders and Louise Gray.
