Giddy about Giddens

A whole new area of academic research has emerged - the study of Anthony Giddens, director of the London School of Economics.

This month sees the launch of a third book edited by Christopher Bryant, professor at the University of Salford, and David Jary, professor at Staffordshire University, dedicated to Professor Giddens.

The tome "opens up for academic and general readers what Anthony Giddens has done in his academic life and how his work on modernity and globalisation underpins his current public and political activities".
