Get chartered

Universities and colleges have been urged to apply for a Charter Mark by Lord Henley. The education and employment minister said none were awarded in higher education last year. The scheme recognises and rewards excellence in delivery of public services and he said applicants had found the process useful, whether or not they were successful.
