A snowman is due to enrol as a student at the Berlin Polytechnic College. The sculpture, Yesterday's Snow , was created by artist Joerg Jozwiak. The classic three-ball snowman sports a red hat and scarf and has been kept in a glass-doored, solar-powered fridge at the college since winter. It is due to stay there until January 31 2004. Staff plan to enrol him as a student on Monday.
