How wide-ranging are new higher education minister Eric Forth's ambitions for his new brief? The departmental brief detailing his responsibilities included "content and quality" of higher education. A slip says the DFEE, but those who suspect the Government of wanting to extend its control over content could be forgiven for concluding that it was a Freudian one.
