Brussels, 09 Feb 2005
A workshop on contracts and consortium agreements for the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Cambridge, the UK, on 11 March.
Compared with previous framework programmes, FP6 awards project consortia a great deal of management responsibility. Transfers of budget between partners, changes to the work plan, the addition of new partners and the publication of calls for proposals are all now carried out within the consortium.
The event will provide a detailed analysis of the Commission's model contract for FP6 projects, along with its implications for consortium agreements. It will draw on experiences thus far in using various model agreements when negotiating the first round of FP6 contracts.
