FP6 consortium management - best practice update

A one-day best practice update on consortium management within the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 14 July.

The event will address:
- European Commission's expectations;
- structuring the project;
- managing problems and risks;
- intellectual property rights and knowledge management;
- framing the consortium agreement and operating procedures;
- dealing with the Commission;
- practical tips (including communication strategy, working with small companies, use of consultants).

The workshop will draw on case studies and practical examples, and will give an update on best practice, taking into account lessons learnt since the first FP6 projects were launched.
