Great excitement several leagues under the sea at the news that an Oxford PhD student has invented a singing synthesizer to reproduce the voice of any human or animal and adapt it to any style.

"You could even end up with dolphins singing Elvis," said St Hugh's student Ken Lomax when he revealed his discovery. "At least it sounded like him". Plankton will no doubt be queuing up for fittings of blue suede shoes.
