Financing European innovation

An international conference entitled 'Financing European innovation' will examine how financial resources, new funding opportunities and creative investments are the driving forces of innovation and research, from 28 to 30 September in Oulu, Finland.

The event will focus on the financing of innovation, research and development in Europe, as well as on examining the international cooperation element. Specific topics for discussion will include:

- the Sixth and Seventh Framework Programmes;
- the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme;
- innovation and regional development;
- the i2010 initiative;
- Technology Platforms.
