Female head accused of sexual assault

* A female head of department at Glasgow College of Nautical Studies has been accused of sexually assaulting two women academics. Mary Collins, head of sports and leisure, has denied charges of assaulting lecturers Karyn Loudon and Kirsty Ewing last year. Ms Loudon, who has since resigned her post, told Hamilton Sheriff Court that Ms Collins had tried to seduce her and threatened her with dismissal if she told anyone. Ms Ewing said she went to Ms Collins's home to investigate Ms Loudon's claims, but was herself assaulted. The case continues.
