Experts meet to discuss nutrigenomics and nutritional systems biology

The second international nutrigenomics conference, 'from nutrigenomics to nutritional systems biology', will take place from 6 to 8 November in Noordwijk aan Zee, the Netherlands.

The conference will focus on the impact of various applied nutrigenomics technologies and databases, model systems and transgenics, on the nutritional and health sciences.

Those attending will have an opportunity to hear about the very latest developments in the field of nutrigenomics and to gain an insight into what food companies are doing in this area. Special areas for discussion include:


-nutrigenomics, microbiology and microbial production;
-nutrition and cancer;
-metabolism related health issues;
-inflammation, allergy and immunodeficiency;
-safety assessment in nutrition;
-clinical nutrition;
-integration of nutrition and health care;
-personalised nutrition and nutrigenetics;
-communication and ethical issues.
