European platform of women scientists - network event: 20 October, Brussels

The European Platform of Women Scientists (EPWS) will hold its first network event on 20 October in Brussels, Belgium. Items on the agenda include:
- an evaluation of the current state of women in science;
- a presentation of the EPWS;
- experiences of existing networks of women scientists;
- and preparations for the association's first general assembly in 2007.
