Brussels, 24 Jul 2003
The tenth European conference on the spectroscopy of biological molecules will take place from 30 August to 4 September in Szeged, Hungary.
The main aim of the conference is to bring together scientists to discuss the various molecular spectroscopical techniques employed in life sciences.
A special emphasis will be placed on spectroscopical techniques such as infrared; visible absorption; circular cichroism; raman; fluorescence; nuclear magnetic resonance; molecular mechanics and dynamics.
The conference will also address biomolecular problems where a spectroscopic approach is considered crucial.
The conference is being organised by the institute of biophysics, in association with the Hungarian biophysical society, the photosynthesis foundation and the biological research centre of the Hungarian academy of scientists - an EU centre of excellence.
