On 05 October the European research network of excellence EADGENE will be launched at INRA's site at Jouy-en-Josas in France. The production of high quality safe food, respecting animal welfare and the environment, is the primary objective of European livestock and aquaculture industries. Particular focus is to be placed on the improvement of animal health.
