This two-week course, organised by the Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), is split equally between the theory and practice on nuclear decommissioning. Up to 35 people may take part in the theory, but the practical part - technical presentations, supervised exercises, demonstrations and visits to plants being decommissioned - has limited places (max. 10). Suitable for people directly involved in decommissioning projects (i.e. project managers, engineers, health physicists), it may also interest other stakeholders, such as government and regulatory authorities and industry.
