October 22, 2004

Brussels, 21 Oct 2004

The EU project SYMBIONIC, funded as a 'specific support action' under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will hold a course on the computational systems biology of the neuronal cell in Trieste, Italy, from 6 to 10 December.

The objectives of the course are:
- to train young scientists in the field of the systems biology of the neuron;
- to ensure that they will be able to integrate different exhaustive models into a larger framework, in the perspective of a comprehensive in-silico representation of the neuron.
