ESA Portal gets a new look

March 20, 2002

Paris, 19 March 2002

In response to the huge interest of the public we have increased our live and multimedia sections. In addition, we have made it easier to reach our national and programme pages.

In the new Space Live section, for example, you can see real-time images of the Sun, daily ozone forecasts, find out where Envisat is now, or 'ask an astronaut' everything you ever wanted to know about living and working in Space.

'Focus on' brings you the most exciting events going on in the Agency this week as well as indepth features on topics of special interest. We have also taken the opportunity to make our ESA Programme pages more easily accessible via graphical icons. You can now reach the national news pages more directly by clicking on each of the flags of ESA’s Member States.

Please remember that through our subscriber service, you can tailor your preferences to receive email notifications of ESA news. Under ‘Subscribe’ you can opt to receive Press Releases in English, French or German, and ESA Portal top news on various topics. You can also subscribe to receive national space news in the language of your choice.

Of course we will continue to bring you daily news on ESA’s activities, as well as latest images and videos in our Multimedia gallery. We welcome your feedback at: contactesa@esa.int
